It’s hard to beat the location of this combined restaurant, pub and hotel, which backs straight onto the marshes, lagoons and creeks of the North Norfolk Coast. It’s something of a local landmark, a special place to eat and also to stay, with seven airy, attractively decorated, en-suite guest rooms in the main building, and eight dog friendly ‘garden rooms’ at the back with sedum-roof to blend with the marshes beyond; these have thoughtfully provided wooden-floored entrance halls for dog beds and muddy boots, and their own terraces for sitting out and enjoying the marsh and sea views.
