Plans have been drawn up to stage Sheringham’s Scira Viking Festival – which culminates in the burning of a model long ship. Provisional date of Saturday March 28th 2026. \nEmbark on a Viking Adventure: Sheringham Viking Festival 2026\nPrepare to be transported back in time at the Sheringham Viking Festival\, a captivating celebration of Norse heritage! Experience the thrill of Viking battles\, the spectacle of a boat-burning ceremony\, and immerse yourself in a culture of warriors and seafarers. \nSheringham Viking Festival 2026: A Date to Remember \nMark your calendars! The Sheringham Viking Festival Provisional date of Saturday March 28th 2026.  This free event welcomes all\, with voluntary donations appreciated to ensure future celebrations. \nA Day of Viking Splendor \nThe festival unfolds across two vibrant locations: \nBeeston Common (East of Sheringham\, near Beeston Bump): From 10:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM\, witness the bustling Viking Village\, a hub of educational and creative activities. Engage in thrilling battle re-enactments and delve into the daily life of Viking settlers.\nSheringham Seafront (Below Leas\, near the former Burlington Hotel): As evening descends\, the spectacle shifts to the seafront. At 6:10 PM\, the Viking Parade will commence from the top car park in Sheringham\, winding its way through the town.
