This beloved annual event transforms the charming coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea into a festive wonderland\, offering a delightful mix of tradition\, spectacle\, and community spirit. \nHere’s a glimpse of the festive fun: \n\nIlluminating the Town: Witness the magical dazzling Christmas lights\, illuminating the town and harbor with festive cheer.\nLantern Parade: Join the enchanting lantern parade as it winds its way through Staithe Street\, culminating in a mesmerizing display on the quayside.\nSanta’s Grand Arrival: Cheer as Santa Claus arrives in style\, sailing into the harbor from the “North Pole” on a festive boat.\nFireworks Spectacular: Be awestruck by a breathtaking fireworks display that lights up the night sky over the marshes\, creating a truly magical atmosphere.\nVisit Santa’s Grotto: Children (and the young at heart) can meet Santa Claus himself in his enchanting grotto at the Maltings.\nCarol Singing: Join the community in joyous carol singing throughout the weekend\, filling the air with festive melodies and holiday spirit.\n\nWells Christmas Tide is a truly special event that captures the magic of the season.
