Taxis and minicabs  on the Norfolk coast are generally provided by good old boys who will be there when you ask and have clean comfortable vehicles. Popular destinations from well known escapes such as Magazine Wood or Anna’s House include  Brancaster, Thornham, Burnham Market, Old Hunstanton and Snettisham and all should be reached in less than 15 minutes. The golden rule is that if you want to use a taxi on the Norfolk Coast during the week – book at least a day in advance and for any weekend – book at least a week in advance. Less than a dozen taxi firms cover a 400 square mile area and always ask for a return price when booking to get the best value.

If travelling for dinner then remember that the coast has  the excellent CoastLiner bus shuttle that runs every hour, every day. Many people drive to  a  restaurant and get a cab home and then travel on the CoastLiner to retrieve their vehicle in the morning.
