Aylsham Show 2024

The Aylsham has been at the heart of the county’s social and agricultural calendar for more than 70 years, returns on the Bank Holiday on Monday, August 26 2024, from 8am until 6pm and will be celebrating fun food and farming.

The show celebrates Norfolk food and farming, through traditional livestock competitions, agricultural machinery displays and a Food Hall bursting with local produce.

In 2022 there was a new Food Discovery Zone where children could learn about food miles and seasonality.  Other family attractions included a mini circus and the Sheep Show, along with a Main Ring programme ranging from heavy horse displays to the Tigers Army Parachute Display Team. Show organisers also redesigned the layout of the show to give more space to food stands, cooking demonstrations and countryside activities alongside the full programme of livestock competitions and main ring attractions. The traditional one-day agricultural show and, with an average attendance in the region of 18,000, is the largest one-day agricultural show in East Anglia.

The parkland setting of Blickling Park, a National Trust Estate, is one of the most beautiful sites in the country with fine views over the lake and towards the Hall. The Show still retains its strong link with agriculture helping to promote a link between town and country.
