An action-packed weekend of speedboat and jetski racing is set to return on the 1st & 2nd June 2024 to a historic Norfolk waterfront at King’s Lynn.
The Hanseatic Festival of Watersports will be held in King’s Lynn for its third year, as the high-octane watersport event takes to the Great Ouse. Spectators will be able to watch powerboat and jetski racing, waterski demonstrations, and stunt displays from the quayside.
The event will involve teams from the Aqua Adrenaline Tour and Offshore Circuit Racing Drivers Association. Earlier festivals have seen more than 20,000 visitors attend what is one of the largest watersports events in Europe.
The event on June 1st and 2nd is free to attend with the races expected to start at around 10.30am. Road closures on Boal Street and South Quay and parking bay restrictions in and around King’s Staithe Square will be in place across the weekend while the event is under way.
