The Hunstanton Christmas Day Swim with everyone taking the plunge at 11am on Monday 25th December at the town’s central promenade. This is one of Norfolk biggest events over the festive season with hundreds of people taking part.
An event stretching back over 60 years with large crowds cheering on the very game or perhaps considering the temperature of the north sea, slightly bonkers participants.
Traditionally many swimmers not only brave the icy water but also don fancy dress to raise money for charity.
Timings
Registration is between 10-10:30
10:50am judging of the fancy dress competition.
11:00am parade of swimmers along the prom & out onto the beach.
11:15am Free hot soup from outside the Marine Bar for all swimmers also warm showers available at Alive Oasis
11:30am certificates can be collected from reception at Alive Oasis.

Shoes you can wear for the swim (this is compulsory)
Fancy dress if you want to stand out.
Towels, sweaters and a warm change of clothes
Under 18’s swimmers must have an adult present who is responsible for them at all times.
