Norfolk Festive Gift & Food Show, Norfolk Showground, Fri 10 to Sun 12 Nov
Think Christmas on steroids with 300 stands offering everything from chocolate and children’s gifts to jewellery and gin – you could get all your Christmas shopping done in one hit. Sip mulled wine and have a good old mooch around the stalls within the large hall, undercover market, marquee and outside. Adults £8 (£9.50 OTD), over 60s £7.50, and children (5-15) £4.50.
The Norfolk Artisan Fair at Christmas, Fakenham Racecourse, Sat 11 & Sun 12 Nov
Smash through your gift list at this artisan fair. There will be over 100 indoor and outdoor stalls to browse and mince pies to munch while you soak up the festive feels. £5 adults (£6 OTD), under 16s free. 9.30am-4pm.
Sandringham Christmas Craft, Food & Gift Fair Fri 17 – Sun 19 Nov
What royal surroundings for a market! A full day out with live music, global street food, and kids entertainment, from an opera-singing Santa to an elf on a bubble bike. Burnham Market Christmas Lights switch on 18 November
Burnham Market’s village green and many of the shops and restaurants will be home to hundreds of glittering lights. Expect to find art, craft and food stalls and you should also see Father Christmas amongst the crowds. If you are looking to have a quick bite there will be local and street food stalls of various world cuisines from midday onwards. Festive Fair, The Forum, Norwich, Thurs 23 to Sun 26 Nov
Enjoy festive music from Norfolk’s Pavilion Brass Quintet whilst indulging in Christmas-style street food and festive drinks. Make plenty of time to browse the unique East Anglian gift stalls including jewellery, pottery, plants, textiles, woodcraft, glassware, clothes, Christmas decs and more. For added festive appeal, Mini Donk’s adorable diddy donkeys will be making an appearance on the Sat and Sun. 11am-7pm Thurs, 10am-6pm Fri & Sat, 10am-4pm Sun. Free entry.
Wells Christmas Tide Festival, Fri 24 to Sun 26 Nov
More of a festival than a Christmas market, but it has one of those too – plus Santa arriving at Wells Quay by boat! Ticking all the festive requirements, there’s carol singing, mulled wine, Christmas lights switch on and – for added pizzazz – fireworks over the marshes. Creake Abbey’s Christmas Gift Fair, Creake Abbey, Sat 25 Nov
Giftable goodies galore at this bustling market that is always well worth a visit. The Courtyard will be packed with over 60 local creatives selling all sorts of Christmas wonder including covetable artisan jewellery, hand-thrown kitchenware, and natural hair and skincare.
Pensthorpe Christmas Market, Pensthorpe, Sun 26 Nov
Pick up some unique local gifts, listen to live music and enjoy plenty of festive treats. Held in the courtyard hub, this popular outdoor pop-up market promises stalls from the region’s top food and drink suppliers, artists and craft makers. £3
Christmas Food, Drink & Gift Market at Holkham Hall, Sat 9 & Sun 10 Dec
Soak up the wonderful atmosphere at Holkham Hall and shop for that perfect present. Within the Lady Elizabeth Wing and courtyard, peruse glistening decorations, scented candles, cards, puddings, chutneys, festive hampers, jewellery, clothing and so much more! There’ll also be live music from Fakenham Town Band and Nelson’s Shantymen and a street food court. Entry free (parking £5). 10am-4pm. Then, once you’ve suitably shopped and sampled, you can up the festive ante with a magical candlelit tour of Holkham Hall (7-14 Dec; booking required for this, £36 adults, £18 children age 2-16), with a glass of bubbly and a mince pie.
