Sandringham 3 Day Event Horse Driving Trials 2025

The  Sandringham 3 Day Event Horse driving trials are from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June 2025  and includes races in dressage, marathon and cones in many different categories such as single horse, single pony, novice, multiples and open single.

The  inaugural event all the way back in 1982 was the vision by the late HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh to bring one of his favourite sports to one of his favourite places. It has run either a national or international carriage driving event over the weekend after Royal Ascot ever since.

The Sandringham Horse Driving Trials event is a prestigious competition where horse carriages are driven through a series of obstacles and challenges. It takes place at the beautiful Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England, usually attracting skilled drivers and their elegant horse teams. The event tests the competitors’ precision, control, and speed as they navigate the course. It’s a great opportunity for equestrian enthusiasts to witness impressive horsemanship and enjoy a day out in a scenic setting.

Catering facilities and trade stands on site and visitors welcome to bring a picnic.
