Deepdale Festival 2023
March 11, 2023
Maui Waui Music Festival
April 4, 2023in 2023 around 50 home-built karts took part with karts with karts racing down the streets of Hunstanton on the first weekend of the Easter school holiday and marked 70 years since the first Soap Box Derby was held in Hunstanton in 1953.
It’s a day packed with family entertainment, a carnival atmosphere and the chance to watch racing through the streets of Hunstanton. This is going to be an Easter ‘eggstravaganza’ with more karts than ever and associated activities taking place in the town supporting the event.
The ‘eggcellent’ course starts on Greevegate, has a few ‘eggciting’ twists and turns and ends up on Beach Terrace Road. Karts will no doubt have to ‘bunny hop’ over the bumps and hopefully, the ‘eggsacting’ course won’t prove too much for intrepid racers.
10:00 – Registration and karts on show on the Green
11:30 – Racing starts
